Mr. Travis Schlagel

My name is Travis Schlagel. This will be my third year of teaching high school science and my second year as a Falcon! I grew up in Longmont and am a product of Longmont High School. After high school I decided to play baseball at Otero Junior College in La Junta from 2004 -2006. I received my B.S in Exercise Science / Pre Physical Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. More recently attained my teaching license from Colorado Mesa University in 2011. I would consider myself an avid outdoorsman. I love to hunt, fish, hike and camp. I enjoy all sports and competition ranging from football, basketball and baseball to old man softball, volleyball and soccer! I enjoy music and have been playing the guitar for close to a decade now but would still consider myself a novice at best! I am very excited to be a Skyline Falcon and expect a phenomenal year.
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
